Comprehensive surveillance system design requires camera placements in all kinds of locations. Cameras are secured to attachment surfaces via a wide variety of mounting accessories. These are generally divided into outdoor (weatherproof) and indoor (non-weatherproof) constructions.
ACTi is introducing a new range of Mounting Accessories in Apr. 2010 to augment and replace existing mounting accessories, especially for the Dome / PTZ Camera series. The new series are entirely constructed in aluminum alloys. As a result the weight is drastically reduced while providing very high durability. In many cases the new version weighs less than half of its predecessor.
