TCD-2100 will bring your analog value to IP world
TCD-2100 is a cost-effective single channel mini video encoder designed by ACTi. It is a powerful triple compression supported (H.264, MPEG-4, MJPEG) device producing multiple dual streams with different pre-set configurations.
It also supports the classic video encoder function - the serial connection through RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232 by which you can control the PTZ function of the analog camera or the housing washer or wiper conveniently from a far-away distance over the IP network.
Using the Digital Input and Digital Output features of the video encoder you can connect the alarm devices of the camera site into video encoder and their events can be transmitted from and to the control center through the same network cable that is used for video transmission.
Because of its small size, it can even fit into some of the box camera housings if you like. Even though it is so small, it is powerful enough to make your analog camera become a professional IP camera.
