ACTi’s new software application, NVR 2.2 is now ready for release. It is the first FREE 64-channels management software supporting MJPEG, MPEG4 and the most efficient compression standard - H.264, on the current market.

 

NVR 2.2 supports ACTi full product lineup, Box/ Bullet/ Fixed Dome/ PTZ/ Speed Domes with resolution from VGA up to Megapixel and allows users to do real-time live view, recording and playback with simultaneous 64ch window display. With the enhancement of overall control management, NVR 2.2 empowers users a smooth and fast operating speed while processing multiple tasks at the same time.

 

ACTi is the only IP camera manufacturer offering free 64-channel software. The complete unified solution including full line of hardware devices and management software enables customers to easily enjoy anytime/ anywhere video monitoring without any extra charge.

 

Other key feature enhancements along with the formal release of NVR 2.2 are highlighted as the followings.

 

1.     Auto Upgrade - For current NVR 2.1 users, NVR 2.2 automatically backups and restores previous settings while installing the new version. (Please must download the “Security-Patch” from ACTi website and execute the program along with the installation of NVR 2.2 to complete the upgrade process)

 

2.     Supports New OS - Supports Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1

 

3.     Supports ACTi New Products – PTZ Camera (ACM-8511/ACM-8211), H.264 IP Camera (TCM-4300), 35x IP Speed Dome (CAM-6630) and Quad Video Server(ACD-2000Q)

 

4.     Enhanced Playback Speed Control - NVR 2.2 is capable of producing smooth video quality for viewers on fast-forward mode (x2 or x4 control speed) without any delay issues.

 

5.     Event ID Supported – To complement the existing functionality for video display, NVR 2.2 is able to include event ID shown on pop-up window, playback video archives and snapshot pictures to specify “where” and “when” the event occurred.

 

6.     AccessKey to Maintain Image Aspect Ratio- Videos are displayed in full window by default, yet now users can use accesskey “CTRL+F6” to maintain the image shown in original aspect ratio.

 

7.     Export Video in AVI format or JPEG Files – Media Converter v2.2 exports raw video files in AVI format, which users can use Windows Media Player to play specific video required without any extra codec installation. Exporting as a series of JPEF files are also supported.

 

8.     Enhanced Digital Zoom Operation- This feature introduces a new zoom in/out operation of better efficiency. Instead of scrolling the mouse, now users can zoom in/out by simply clicking the “+” and “-” sign shown in the center of the video.
