ETDE Chose ACTi IP Camera to Protect Bourgeois, CHANEL Branch Office in France
ETDE, subsidiary of the group Bouygues, the leading French infrastructure system integrator, has chosen ACTi IP cameras and ONSSI NetDVMS Secuirty Managment Software for IP video surveillancein Bourgeois, the subsidiary of famous fashion house CHANEL based in Neuilly sur Seine, ile de France region, in July 2008.
In view of increasing crime rate, Bourgeois, the Branch office of CHANEL has decided to invest heavily on security system in their office. Bourgeois required a security system for efficient and powerful surveillance and management. Novadis, as ACTi value-added distributor in France, combined the unique offering of ACTi 540 TVL High Resolution CCD IP IR cameras and anti-vandal fixed dome with ONSSI NetDVMS management software system for this project. The contracted system integrator, ETDE, was therefore able to provide very reliable and robust video solution.
Excellent video quality during both day and night time with smooth full frame (25 frame per second) video transmission at minimum bit rate and ease of use were just two of the reasons the ACTi and ONSSI solution was chosen. Total 16 ACTi IP cameras were installed all over the branch office, 4pc ACM-1431P IR IP bullet cam at entrance, CAM-7301P vandal proof fixed dome at important public area. “When it comes to selecting built-in IR IP cameras, it is very rare that we see good video quality these days, especially at such affordable price level with both PoE function and IP-66 casing,” commented Mr. Benjamin Colliaux, the Key Account Sales Manger of Novadis, “the all-in-one functions and easy-to-install feature of ACTi cameras have greatly helped reduce the installation effort and time for ETDE.”
ACTi’s wide range of professional IP cameras ranging from box cam, IR bullet cam, fixed dome to PTZ camera have been commonly chosen for office building surveillance purpose not only in France, but also in many other European countries.
